Wing Chun

Wing Chun (WC) is a southern Chinese martial art style. WC is characterized for the emphasis of Straight Line principle, integrating the position, sensitivity and energy. The WC system training consists of:

1. Sil Lim Tau: Trains the stationary positioning of individual practitioner. The set puts the focal point on elbow and leg connections.
2. Chum Kiu : Provides the training on dynamic movement positioning of individual practitioner. The set supplies a taste on the leg engagement.
3. Biu Gee : Furnishes the urgency situation training for individual practitioner. The set develops one’s finger power once individual has been matured after first and second set trainings.
4. Drills : Include single and double chi-sao (sticky hands), fist grapping, etc., for practical training on position, sensitivity and energy.
5. 6-1/2 Point Pole : Concentrates on upgrading one’s elbow power.
6. Bua Jaim Dou : The knife set characterizes the application of eight ‘chops’ of elbow integration.
7. WC Wooden Dummy : The unique dummy is simulated as a fighting partner with individual. The set blends the three fist sets (1), (2) and (3) into ‘realistic’ applications.
